  • Placing an order:

  • How to place an order?

    Placing an order with Blinds4me is very simple. Please click on the product you are interested in and remember to enter the sizes you require if you are opting for made to measure. Add the goods to the basket and once you are ready to pay for your order, please click on the Checkout button located in the top right corner. If you require any assistance or have any doubts, please give us a call. Alternatively we are able to take manual orders by email. Please note, we might not be able to offer payment by card for such orders.

  • Is it safe to place the order?

    We appreciate that if customers do not trust a vendor then they will not place an order. Therefore security of the transaction is of paramount importance to us. We use one of the most reliable and popular operators of card payments - Sage Pay. When you proceed to checkout, you are moved to a secure page which uses cryptographic protocols designed to provide communications security between your computer and the server. This basically means all card details and personal data is encoded when being passed to the card payments operator.

  • What payment options are available?

    We offer the most popular payment options to suit all such as:

    • credit/debit card operated by Sage Pay
    • PayPal
    • bank transfer
  • How do I redeem the voucher code?

    Once you are ready to place your order, please click on the checkout button. The box to apply the code is located in the bottom of the checkout.

  • I forgot to apply the voucher code. Can the code be applied when the transaction is complete?

    Unfortunately we are unable to manually apply the code if the transaction has been already completed.

  • How to take measurements? Do you make any deduction for fitting in the recess?

    We do not make any deduction for fitting inside recess. To find out how to take the measurements, please visit our measuring guide. Alternatively a brief explanation about fitting in the recess/outside the recess is provided in the product descriptions.

  • I tried to place an order, but only my last attempt to make the card payment was successful. I received only one order confirmation, but when checking my bank account I noticed the payment has been taken twice.

    In some cases if your bank uses 3d secure system (it is the pop out window, with the logo of your bank where you are prompted to enter 3 characters of your password) and the password provided is incorrect, your bank might reserve the amount matching the transaction value. The money has not been received by us as they never left your account. It usually takes a few days for the money to be unblocked by your bank. If you have any doubts whether your payment is successful, please give us a call and we will check it for you.

  • Are the products covered with any warranty?

    Yes, all our products are covered by one year warranty. Any faulty products will be collected and fixed by us free of charge. We will also re-dispatch it at no extra cost to you. Please note, we shall attempt to fix the product before sending out a replacement.

  • Delivery:

  • How long will it take to deliver my order?

    Made to measure products are usually dispatched within 2 to 4 working days. Please allow more time for the delivery before and after bank holidays.

  • What if I’m out when my delivery comes?

    The couriers will leave you a calling card with the details necessary to arrange for the re-delivery. Alternatively your parcel will be left with a neighbour or you will be able to collect the goods from the nearest depot. Please note, only 3 delivery attempts are possible. If the couriers are unable to deliver the parcel at the third attempt, it will be returned back to us. Additional charge will be required to re-send the order.

  • Already placed an order:

  • I spotted an error on my order. Can I make some changes?

    It is usually possible to change the details of your order within the first 24 hours. After that time, your order may have already reached production and it might be too late to change it. Please note, any changes to your order need to be confirmed in writing.

  • I forgot to take off the 1.5 cm for fitting in the recess. Can anything be done to rectify this?

    If your order has not yet been dispatched, please give us a call. If it’s not too late, we might be able to trim your blinds. Please note, it is not possible to extend blinds already cut.

    If your order has already been delivered, we might be able to collect it to make the necessary reductions. Please note, there is a charge for collection and re-delivery. Unfortunately the charge is determined by the size of the goods, quantity, weight and your location so we are unable to provide a fixed rate. Please give us a call or send us an email and we will provide you with the quote.

  • I placed an order but haven't received my order confirmation. Can you re-send it to me?

    Sometimes due to the various security settings of your email software or your service provider, our emails might be blocked. If you have not received your order confirmation in your inbox then please check your junk mail folder. If you do not locate the confirmation there then please contact us so that we can send another confirmation to you.

  • Can I return made to measure products?

    Unfortunately made to measure products are made to your specific requirements and therefore are non-returnable. We will be unable to re-use already customized products and therefore to avoid disappointment, we advise to use our measuring guide when measuring your windows and carefully check your order confirmation for any mistakes.

  • I received an email saying that you have refunded my money, but I still haven't received my money back.

    Unfortunately sometimes it takes some time to process a refund. PayPal refunds are instant however bank transfers can take up to one working day. In case of card transactions, it can take up to 7 working days although it is very unusual for the transaction to exceed 3 working days.

  • Electric curtain tracks:

  • I am worried I will not be able to assemble and fit the track. Is it complicated?

    No need to worry! Our Silk Smooth electric curtain tracks are already pre-assembled to your specified size making it very easy to fit. Dependant on length, it will either consist of just one track or a set of 2 or 3 tracks connected by joiners. All you will be required to do is to straighten the tracks on a flat surface and slide the joiners to prevent the track from folding. The next step is to fit the brackets and mount the track.

  • What side is the motor mounted on?

    Our electric curtain tracks can be turned around, so if you choose the option to have two curtains, you can choose as to which side you’d prefer the motor to be fitted.

  • How are the electric curtain tracks connected to the power?

    Our electric curtain tracks are suitable for DIY projects. No need to hire any skilled electricians. The device comes with standard 3 pins plug which needs to be plugged in to the socket.
